FELIX M. LEHRMANN

Felix Lehrmann is a German drummer who lives in Berlin.

Felix was born in a small town called Halberstadt in 1984. When he was three years old, he and his family moved to Berlin. At the same time, he began playing the drums.

As the son of a well-known guitarist (Michael Lehrmann) and growing up in a musical family, his youth was characterised by music and resembled an almost never-ending jam session.

Felix took drum lessons with various private teachers until 2001. Then he found a mentor and good friend in Kenny Martin, who still influences him today.

After playing in several semi-professional bands, he started his professional career as a drummer at the age of 17. He played on his first European tour with the artist Della Miles.

At the same time, Felix needed to continue with school to finish his studies. Because of the countless gigs and studio sessions, it was almost impossible for him to attend his normal school. Fortunately, his mother was his teacher as well, so it was not too difficult to get permission from his school to support him with his passion.

After Felix had successfully finished school, he went on tour with the German singer Yvonne Catterfeld. The tour lasted for almost 3 years. At this point, Felix realised that this was the job he wanted for the rest of his life. There was no way back. His life then consisted of tours, studio sessions and clinics, which were all over the world.

Up until today,Felix has been in the studio and on tour with the following artists;

Sarah Connor, The Flower Kings, Jon Anderson, Dendemann & The Free Radicals, Jan Böhmermann, James Bay, Aloe Blacc, Torsten Goods, Dieter Maschine Birr, Tata Young, DJ Mehdi, Jennifer Rush, Orange Blue, Nils Wülker, Guru, Nneka, Oceana, Jeanette Biedermann, Estelle, Lena Meyer-Landrut, Namika, Haftbefehl, Thomas Godoj, Talib Kwali, Kurtis Blow, Marc Medlock, Miss Dynamite, Jaguar Wright, Bahamadia, Valentine, Patrice, Ayo, Denyo, Jan Delay, Roland Balogh,...
